CHICAGO: Glacier National Park police on Friday officially confirmed the identity of Saudi national Atheer Abdul Rahman Al-Qahtani, victim of Monday’s Avalanche Creek drowning. The victim was a University of Kansas student residing in Lawrence, Kansas, who had left on a sightseeing road trip when her school year was over. Police said in a statement on Friday that Al-Qahtani fell from a rocky well on Monday into the waters of Avalanche Creek, Montana, and drifted into a gorge.
