Christine McPhee of Fleetwood Mac has passed away at the age of 79, her family said.

The British-American rock band, formed in London in 1967, have sold over 100 million records worldwide, making them one of the most successful bands of all time.

In a Facebook post, Ms McPhee’s family wrote: “It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of Christine’s passing.

She passed away peacefully in the hospital this morning, Wednesday, November 30, 2022, after a long struggle with illness. She was accompanied by her family.

He continued the statement by asking that the family’s privacy be respected at “this deeply distressing time” and that “the esteemed musician who was universally loved” be remembered by all.
